Dear Mojang Studios,
We, the Persian-speaking Minecraft community, would like to respectfully request the addition of an official Persian (Farsi) language to Minecraft Bedrock Edition.
Persian is spoken by millions of people in Iran, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, and by Persian-speaking communities around the world. Adding Persian would make Minecraft more accessible and enjoyable for a large and growing player base.
We kindly request support for the following:
• Official Persian (Farsi) localization for the entire game interface.
• Proper Right-to-Left (RTL) text rendering.
• Correct Arabic/Persian letter shaping, so characters connect naturally instead of appearing separated.
• Correct ordering of Persian text in chat, signs, books, commands, and user interface elements, preventing reversed or broken text.
• Full support for bidirectional (BiDi) text, allowing Persian and English text to appear correctly together.
• A font that fully supports Persian characters and punctuation.
• Consistent Persian text rendering across all Minecraft Bedrock platforms.
Minecraft Java Edition already provides much better support for Persian text rendering, and we hope Bedrock Edition can achieve the same level of support and receive an official Persian translation.
Thank you for your time, your dedication to Minecraft, and for considering this request.
With respect and appreciation,
The Persian-speaking Minecraft Community
