With some adjustments, a bug in 26.3 snapshot 3 could be a feature

There's a bug that allows cushions to be placed on trapdoors that can be opened. add some signs next to the trapdoors and this bug adds some nice looking chairs. can we please keep some aspects of it please? it allows creativity to go absolutely ballistic.
