Wool armor should be introduced as by far the most weakest underestimated armor that just might prove to be op at times. Wool armor has very low durability, get hit 4 times and a piece breaks. Enchanting it might help a bit especially if dealing with fire or lava. Not so op yet… well this armor can be dipped in cauldron with potions to have armor that retains potions effects until potion effect run out or armor is broken. Removing armor pauses the effect timer on wool armor, apply the armor again to resume effect timer. Crouch in a cauldron with a potion in it to dip the armor while wearing it. Another catch is it wont say what effect it has unless the player names it. Otherwise it will list the enchantments and have a label under it that says [DIPPED]. That is until you put it on of course. Invisibility potions will also turn wool armor temporarily invisible. Splash potions could have a great effect on wool armor as well. Could be similar to future amethyst armor that could infinitely replenish potion effects and lacks the ability to turn completely invisible. Amethyst tools and weapons can deal dmg like diamond but with a durability just slightly worse than gold. Not to mention wool armor would be great to take into the deep dark to silence movement and actions. Different wool armor pieces silences what interactions can be heard. Banner patterns can also be applied to wool armor
