Optional Classic Version Numbering in the Minecraft Launcher

I really like the new year-based version names (such as 26.1, 26.2, etc.), but I think it would be great to have an optional setting in the Minecraft Launcher to display version numbers using the classic format.

This option would only change how version names are displayed. It would not affect gameplay, multiplayer, worlds, compatibility, or any technical aspect of the game.

For example:

• 26.1 → 1.22.1

• 26.2 → 1.22.2

• 26.3 → 1.22.3

• 26.4 → 1.22.4

Or the Launcher could display both formats:

Version: 26.2 (Classic: 1.22.2)

This would be a purely visual customization option for long-time players who are familiar with the traditional 1.x.x version numbering. New players could continue using the current naming system, while others could choose the classic display if they prefer it.

This feature would not change the game or provide any gameplay advantage. It would simply give players the option to choose how version names are displayed in the Launcher.
