Description
Existing Pain Point
All potions, splash potions, lingering potions and tipped arrows cannot stack. A regular bundle can only hold 1 potion at most, which is extremely inconvenient for PVP battles.
Players need to carry buff potions like Regeneration, Strength and debuff splash potions such as Weakness, Slowness. These items waste many inventory/hotbar slots, and switching items during combat leads to missed operations and losses.
My Suggestion: Potion Pouch
Add a brand new storage item called Potion Pouch, similar to bundles but exclusive to potion-related items only.
- Tiered capacity by crafting materials:
- Leather Potion Pouch: Holds 4 potions
- Iron Potion Pouch: Holds 8 potions
- Diamond Potion Pouch: Holds 16 potions
- Restriction rules: Can only store potions, splash potions, lingering potions and tipped arrows. Blocks, weapons, food or totems are not allowed inside.
- Operation design: Add a dedicated hotkey to open the pouch UI quickly, players can drink or throw potions without scrolling full inventory.
- Balance promise: This pouch has no attack, defense or movement buffs. It only optimizes inventory management and will not break PVP balance.
Advantages
This design extends the existing bundle mechanic without massive code changes. It creates a clear difference from universal bundles and perfectly solves the inventory pressure for PVP, raids and long survival exploration.
