Expand Minecraft's ambient sounds and separate them into two optional categories.
Ambient Sounds 1 would include the mysterious atmospheric sounds currently heard in caves and other eerie locations.
Ambient Sounds 2 would include only natural environmental sounds, such as birds singing, wind through trees, ocean waves, flowing rivers, waterfalls, insects, frogs, cave echoes, water dripping, and other biome-specific sounds.
This would allow players who enjoy relaxing nature sounds but dislike the mysterious cave noises to disable Ambient Sounds 1 while keeping Ambient Sounds 2 enabled.
Expanding natural ambient sounds across more biomes would make Minecraft's world feel more immersive and alive without changing gameplay. This idea is inspired by community add-ons such as Dynamic Surroundings, but is not intended as a direct copy.
