Currently, undead land mounts feel like an unrewarding "copy-paste" texture swap.
While the Zombie Nautilus correctly received a 10% speed buff, others were left behind. Taming a Camel Husk, Zombie Horse, or Skeleton Horse requires surviving dangerous combat encounters. On top of that, their upkeep is highly restrictive:
they cannot breed, and they require expensive items like Rabbit Feet or Red Mushrooms to heal.
Despite these severe penalties, their health, speed, and jump capabilities are identical to or worse than normal mounts, making them mere decorative trophies rather than viable choices for exploration. Mojang should implement a balanced "risk vs. reward" system for undead land mounts:
* Camel Husk: Get a 10% speed increase or extended dash to reward players for tackling desert dangers.
* Zombie Horse: Guarantee a higher minimum speed or a unique perk (like being ignored by other zombies).
* Skeleton Horse: Needs a minor health or jump buff to compensate for low base stats and no armor.
Please give these rare variants some mechanical love so they feel like legendary rewards instead of a tedious chore!
