Hello, I would like to suggest a few improvements for the new dialog system.
As server administrators or map makers, we frequently use GUI menus to display information, titles, and lore texts. This lore usually has a background that allows players to easily read the information. However, dialogs currently lack a background, and since some custom launchers remove the default background or are not yet adapted, the text can become hard to read. Would it be possible to add a "background_color" option directly inside the dialog configuration (on the text zone or the configured item), similar to how text_displays work? This would ensure the text remains fully visible without relying on a blurry background.
-
-> Add a "background_color" feature similar to text displays.
On the server-side, another very practical feature would be the ability to refresh menus without resetting the player's mouse cursor to the center of the screen. For example, if a title displays a player's playtime, I currently have to create a "refresh" button or force the player to switch pages and come back to get the updated time.
-
-> Allow placeholders/variables in lores and titles to auto-refresh without reloading or changing the page.
-
-> Add a feature similar to GUI menus (like a "bucket" or dynamic handling) to use dialogs as server selectors, where servers could automatically appear or disappear from the dialog via the infrastructure.
Thank you for your time, and I hope these suggestions can be considered!
