You should add more crops, and maybe some that give multiple harvest (perennial). These could be found in villages or maybe a new structure like a greenhouse. Ex, Strawberries, Tomatoes, Lettuce. These could last for a few days. Then, you should think about fruit trees with smaller logs that will last for much longer. Examples, Apple, Lemon, Orange.
