What do you want done?
I suggest adding an official Minecraft Cloud Sync system for Minecraft Java Edition. It could connect with Microsoft accounts and use OneDrive or Microsoft Cloud services to store and synchronize Minecraft data.
Players should be able to sync:
- Worlds
- Settings
- Resource packs
- Screenshots
- Mod profiles and configurations
- Version settings
Players could log in from another PC and continue playing without manually moving files.
Why do you want something done?
Many Java Edition players use multiple computers, reinstall Windows, or change devices. Moving worlds, mods, and settings manually can be difficult and may cause players to lose important data.
A cloud system would make Minecraft Java Edition easier to use while keeping the freedom and customization that makes Java Edition special.
It would also improve Microsoft account integration by allowing players to safely protect their creations.
How do you want something done?
Add an optional cloud system inside the Minecraft Launcher. Players could select which files they want to sync, and the launcher could automatically upload and download them through Microsoft Cloud or OneDrive.
Local files should remain accessible so players can still manage their Minecraft folders manually. The system should support different versions and modded profiles.
This would help players protect their worlds and easily continue playing on different devices.
