The problem: It's the middle of the night. The land is crawling with monsters. What do you do? why, just jump in the water. Swimming is tiring, but if you have a boat, nothing can harm you. (Except phantoms). In real life, the oceans are dangerous. In the other dangerous biomes, there is a mob to represent the danger of that place. To represent the heat of the desert, we have the Husk. The ocean, however, has nothing of the sort. Not even waves. To address this problem, I propose the Orca.
Why Orcas? In the real world, Orcas are attacking small boats such as fishing boats, and have sunk quite a few. The tiny row boat we have definitely counts as a small boat. Using Orcas also allows for a more dangerous variant, the Zombie Orca. (see Zombie Orcas- The ocean surface is too safe for more.)
What it Does: The Orcas will spawn in packs of 2-3, and stick together. they are neutral, so they only attack if you are in a boat. Once one becomes aggressive the whole pack become aggressive, and they will never calm down. They will spawn in both night and day, just not during rain. When they attack they will first break your boat (The boat is dropped), then attack you.
Specifics:
Shape: a somewhat larger dolphin
Coloring: black with white patches or streaks, red eyes?
Will become aggressive if 20 blocks away from a boat.
Once aggressive, will attack boats first. once all boats are broken, will attack the player(s).
Health: 20 points?
Same speed as a boat.
Attack damage: same as a zombie?
