Dappled Forest Season Change and biome transitions

For the Dappled Forest, since the biome is supposed to represent the climate changing in the fall, or rather the trees staying and having more fall colors for longer, what would be cool, is how, they could change as time goes on, in terms of seasons. also perhaps for some dappled forests, in terms of biome gradients and smooth biome transition, the fall changing leaves, like the jungle leaves, or rather the oak and dark oak leaves, could have naturally spawning trees in some of the biomes, or have chances to when the forest is smaller and doesn't have as much poplar trees to give more of that fall effect, like the changing of the seasons, or that area has started to change seasons, or something like that.

    I think they're going for Minecraft seasons as a sort of liminal place between transitions that doesn't change.
    snow biomes stay snowy forever not just winter, cherry blossoms only normally happen in spring, and regular summer.
    now fall or autumn is a seasonal state that doesn't change.
