To create this, simply combine Dirt with a plant/sapling/flower from a given biome in your inventory or at a crafting table. For example, a taiga will have a spruce sapling, a birch forest will have a birch sapling, and etc. Simply place the block, use Bone Meal on it, and the grass in a 9x9 area will change color to the color of the biome chosen by the player who used the plant/sapling/flower to obtain it. Clicking on this block with Bone Meal will expand the area to a maximum of 64x64. The Plant Soil block would look like Dirt with small elements of the plant/sapling/flower it was combined with. Each type of plant soil would have its own unique texture; there are as many textures as there are biomes. This would allow players to obtain their desired grass color from any biome in survival mode without the fillbiome command.
