Dear Minecraft Team,
I love Minecraft’s horses and use them in almost every survival world. However, compared to many other features in the game, horses can feel a little bland once they are tamed. Most players simply search for a horse with good stats rather than developing the horse they already have.
I would love to see a horse training system added to the game. Players could improve a horse’s speed, jump height, health, or stamina through regular riding, travelling, jumping obstacles, or other activities. This would make horses feel more personal and rewarding to own.
I would also love to see trained horses pass some of their improved traits to their offspring. This would allow players to breed generations of horses and gradually create stronger bloodlines through time and effort rather than luck alone. It would add a new layer of progression, especially for players who enjoy farming, breeding animals, and building stables.
A feature like this would encourage players to form attachments to their horses, create breeding programs, and spend more time interacting with them. It feels like a natural expansion of Minecraft’s existing animal and breeding mechanics while remaining true to the game’s survival and exploration focus.
Thank you for your time and for continuing to develop such an amazing game.
Kind regards
