Ressource Packs have some problems right now, that I noticed:
The different Chest Types are all grouped to one texture: generic_54, which is horrible if you, for example, want to make a orange copper chest and so on. Please seperate them or atleast make it possible to seperate them!
Why cant you place a ressource pack into a datapack? Why? It could be so easy, but no! You need to seperate Datapacks from ressource Packs, which is super uncomfortable if you make datapacks, that access model or textures.
The Ressource Packs should be able to be put in subfolders! This can be done like this: subfolders only detect .zip files and that is ok. Because I else need to scroll 10 miles and dont find my pvp pack which brings me to another point: Settings to dis- or enable in ressource packs! That would be so great if I could configurate my pvp-pack (f. e.) and then only make my swords custom while not having to seperate my pvp-pack in 10 different ones so I have the choice. Also: A search bar would be great for the rp-menu.
My last Idea is to make Inventory Slots movable and/or resizable! If not also remove them, or add new ones. Why not go a step further and make new guis that, with the power of datapacks are completely customizable? Wouldn't that thing why datapacks exist? To give the players the opinion of creating what they want? A menu that is in the choice of the player to make.
