I have an idea for the tuff golem that I believe would increase Minecraft's quality of life. It is an improved version of what it originally did; you can give it an item to hold, with the exception of containers that aren't ender chests. However, you can actually use what you gave it as though you had placed it.
Examples of this feature:
- If you give it a furnace, crafting table, anvil, or a similar block, it becomes a mobile workstation, allowing you to do what you need to on-the-go.
- If you give it a torch or lantern, it will light up the way for you.
- If you give it a button or lever, you can activate it, and it will power the tuff golem like a block, triggering redstone devices near it on demand. Giving it a redstone torch or block will make it passively trigger redstone it walks over.
If you hit it while it is holding something, it drops the item instead of taking damage.
It follows the player who created it around by default, but you can interact with it to make it go to the nearest block and stay put in that spot. This can be undone by interacting with the tuff golem again.
