Abandoned campsites should have more player-like loot

Abandoned campsites currently contain early game items and junk, while there are some unique pieces such as a copper golem statue, crop farms and saddles, it is really small. Why not expand the loot to items one can find in an actual player storage, like ores (in smaller amounts of course), copper, iron and stone tools, or various loot from around the minecraft world, such as spore blossoms, pointed dripstone, rotten flesh, snowballs, kelp, flowers, saplings or fish?
