Today I was playing on my Bedrock Edition survival world, and I was tired of going up and down the steep cliff to my base all the time. I could build a staircase up, but that would be a little tedious and not very original, so I instead decided to build a giant wooden diving board into a pool below with a ladder beside it to come back up the cliff. For the ladder, I planned to use trapdoors behind the ladders because it really fit in with the build and I thought it would look nice. Imagine my surprise when I was done placing around 60 trapdoors and couldn't place ladders on them. I was confused because I'd seen people put ladders on trapdoors so much, and then I realized that it was another parity issue between Java and Bedrock Editions. Now I either have to use full blocks for the ladder, or just find another way to make a way up the cliff.
PLEASE add the ability to place ladders on non-solid blocks like trapdoors in Bedrock Edition! It would be super useful for builds like treehouses and watchtowers!
