A New Sponge-like mob, The Glug

Hi Mojang! I made this mob idea and I was wondering if it could be added to a future Minecraft update.

My mob’s name is “The Glug.” The Glug would be a living sponge-like creature. It can soak up water and does not have a limit to how much water it can absorb. It can also soak up lava, but there are two catches: it can only absorb one lava source block and the lava from it. When it absorbs lava, it turns hostile and attacks the player until it finds water and cools off.

The Glug’s texture is based on a living sponge creature. Its normal form has a yellow sponge-like body with a grumpy face and blue parts on the sides that look like water it has absorbed.

When the Glug absorbs lava, its texture changes. It becomes bright red/orange like it is filled with lava, its eyes glow brighter, and its face becomes angry. The red color shows that it is overheated and has become hostile until it cools down in water.

I imagine the Glug making sounds similar to a drowned.

I wanted to add this mob because I think it would be a cool creature to discover while exploring Minecraft’s oceans and would add more life to coral reefs.
