Grizzly Bears in Dappled Forest and Taigas

Grizzly Bears would be a neutral mob that you can gain the trust of (similar to an ocelot) using salmon. Bears would scratch at trees and drop sap in the process. You can use the syrup as fuel in a smoker to make any food give +4 hunger points. Also untrusted bears attack you at night.

  I think that this could be tailored a bit. Why would the grizzly just out of the blue attack you at night? Maybe if you have food in a chest of something like that they could try to get into your house and if you try to stop them, they will attack you. I was also thinking it could be a little more realistic if maybe when you get too close to an untrusted bear's baby, it might attack you. I'm not saying you have to do any of this, but I think it might make it a bit realistic. The paragraph you have above, however, could do as well. You know how there are aggressive pandas? maybe there can be aggressive grizzly bears, too. I was thinking they might attack you at night and if you get in a 5-block radius of them, they'll attack you unless you're holding salmon. Thanks!
