The Story Drop (More lore/story to the game):
Add more hidden lore in the structures and textures for players to discover and theorize their own way. We should have more chiselled blocks and some form of ancient runes. This would give the nether, end, and stronghold their own ancient stories for players to uncover. You guys (Mojang) literally said once that the main story of Minecraft was for players to be 'creative' and come up with their own conclusions. Adding more stuff in structures like Bastions, Temples, Fortresses, Strongholds, End Cities, etc. I mean more stuff like books/runes/blocks or some signs of predecessors or life that adds meaning to the story.
Conclusion:
-More ways for the players to 'choose their own conclusions'
-More hidden lore for lore-hungry players and to add more meaning to the game.
-More small changes to Bastions, Temples, Fortresses, Strongholds, End Cities, etc, that give smaller amounts of story/lore to the game.
-Ancient Runes or archaeological aspects.
