Zombies should inflict weakness on villagers for zombification

Curing Zombification uses: the weakness effect and golden apple. I think zombies should use weakness to zombify villagers. imagine it's like anesthesia, if they're put in a state of weakness they can be converted or cured more easily. The golden apple can regenerate negative hearts into positive hearts but only for the time it has absorption regeneration and weaknesses. so if zombies kill villagers to inflict zombification they inflict a negative heart regeneration effect that should only be possible with weakness.

now in and easy mode difficulty zombies don't inflict weakness to villagers.

but in normal and hard game mode difficulty zombies can inflict weakness while attacking villagers. villagers already don't have the ability to fight back but if zombies weaken them first it would make it more consistent with the curing process.

 

with this change players in Easy Mode could inflect the villager using a splash potion of weakness and then let a zombie kill it in order to make a Zombified Zombie Villager, and maybe cute it to get discount trades.

    if they ever added undead variants for more mobs like horses, then they could only be zombified if they receive weakness and get killed by some kind of zombie.

    maybe any entity on half a heart gets weakness automatically unless it's easy or peaceful
