In Minecraft Live 2020, in the warden reveal, there was an underground cabin in the deep dark. My suggestion is to add this abandoned underground cabin in the third drop of 2026, alongside the abandoned camp. The purpose of it is to make the world feel more lived in and offer a smaller, easier structure to explore before exploring an ancient city. Ancient cities are hard to find without an elytra (and are hard to find regardless), and don't always spawn in deep dark patches unless the erosion is low enough. The introduction of the underground cabin would allow players to try out the mechanics of looting in the deep dark with lower stakes than the ancient city. As a lower stakes structure, the loot should be far inferior to the loot found in an ancient city. The underground cabin would also be able to spawn in more areas than the ancient city, such as in smaller patches of the deep dark. It would add depth to the world by making it more alive in an area where there is little signs of past exploration (except for ancient cities). I feel like it would fit the theme of the abandoned camps on the surface, with mystery and lore of who lived in the world before you.
