I've been playing Minecraft since its original release on Xbox. One thing I especially appreciate is that Mojang started offering virtual event capes, since I've never been able to attend an in person event.
That said, I wanted to share some frustration with the reward distribution process. For every event drop, I've watched the official lives on Twitch and TikTok at the correct times, logged in during the right windows, and entered the codes I received, but I have never successfully received a cape from any of these events.
When I've reached out to Twitch and Microsoft support for help, I keep getting passed back and forth. Each one points to the other and eventually directs me to Mojang, without resolution.
As a longtime player, it's discouraging to put in the effort and follow all the steps correctly, only to come away empty handed every time, especially knowing these capes are tied to specific windows and can't be earned later.
I'd really appreciate it if Mojang could improve the reliability of this system, whether through better tracking, clearer communication when something goes wrong, or retroactively awarding capes to players who met the requirements but didn't receive credit.
I understand these are just cosmetic items, but as someone who has been with this game for a long time, it would mean a lot to finally be recognized for participating.
