Loose ends from 12 years ago

12 years ago we got andesite, diorite and granite. nice.

Crafting recipes made no sense. Add nether quartz to cobblestone to get diorite. Then add some more to get granite. No sense.

But i understood - devs didn't want people to have to go to a 5000 blocks trip (and encounter cut-off generation) to get granite.

But 12 years have passed, people are staying on 1.7.10 or have migrated their worlds. Time for those recipes to go.
