Description:
I suggest adding a new mob called "Fulgus". It is a mushroom-like creature with a tragic backstory: once a helper to a deceitful human, it was betrayed and cast out by all creatures. Now, it only attacks when provoked.
Behavior & Features:
Appearance: Looks like a harmless mushroom, but hides a sad, red-eyed form when provoked.
Combat: When attacked, it flies into the sky with glowing red eyes and strikes the attacker with a lethal lightning bolt (deals 50% of the player's max health). If the attacker survives, Fulgus flees, passing through glass blocks to escape.
The Reward: If defeated, it drops a unique, unplantable mushroom.
The Risk/Reward Mechanic: Eating this mushroom grants the player the ability to strike enemies with lightning during rain, but it caps the player's health at only 3 hearts, making it a high-risk strategy.
Immunity: Players are immune to lightning damage while under the effect, but they remain extremely vulnerable due to the low health cap.
Why add it?
Fulgus adds a layer of psychological depth and tactical risk. It forces players to be cautious near mushroom patches and introduces a "glass-cannon" combat mechanic that rewards skill over brute force.
