Im still strugling to figure out how to reset chunks I did just fly/run trough in my world where I did several building areas in several biomes decently far from each other - I cant define zone to keep and delete rest as it would be like 10 of them, I cant select what to remove as dancing around my building zones would be similarily painful. I was at point figuring out programatic solution but there is sadly no library to manipulate world data for .net and I dont want to meddle with other stuff in whatever state of abandonment.
There should be some easy way to clear what player did not built in. Its pain to update to see new features and than have to go with each biome addition further and further from already explored area to see it.
With proper support it could be possible to match chunks against generation algorithm and delete those unchanged or mark changed chunks natively by game to keep track or whatever - with access to game code you have much more possibilities to fix this. Please let us enjoy updates instead of worrying how to fit all the new stuff to our years old worlds in game that is supposed to be for years of bulding. We should not be punished by exploring the world and building in more than one place.
