Horse speed limit

Right now when you have 2 almost max speed horses and their offspring is born with speed above the limit the bonus over the limit is subtracted from the limit and made the new speed stat. In my opinion this is extremely unsatisfying! After hours of selective breeding one may come to the conclusion that the max speed stat may never be due to sheer luck and in my opinion bad design. When surprassing the max speed stat it should just default to the limit not under it.
