The dappled forest should have more leaf blocks on the ground since during autumn leaves are supposed to fall on the ground. Similar to the jungle where you can find leafs on the grass. Maybe for this biome the leafs on the ground could spawn adiacient to the wood log block that touches the grass (that is the lowest).
