I would like to share my concerns about whether the game mode switching system has been implemented properly. Personally, I believe that the "purity" of our "Survival" and "Hardcore" worlds is very important to us as players who spend thousands of hours playing on them.
It feels wrong that we can switch to "Creative" mode with a single button and then return to "Survival" as if nothing had happened. Likewise, the "Edit Game Rules" menu is unavailable until we enable the "Allow Commands" option, which shows that certain features can already be restricted when necessary.
Because of this, I would like to propose a few changes. First, the "Game Modes" menu should work in the same way as the "Edit Game Rules" menu and remain disabled until the player enables "Allow Commands". This would prevent accidental or impulsive switching between game modes.
Second, and more importantly, the "Allow Commands" option should include a lock that players can choose to activate. Once locked, it would no longer be possible to enable commands in that world, just like a locked "Difficulty".
I believe these changes would help protect the value and authenticity of "Survival" and "Hardcore" worlds and would allow players to better emphasize the "purity" of worlds that they have dedicated thousands of hours to building and exploring. Such a feature would provide players with confidence that their worlds have never used commands or mode switching, making their achievements feel more meaningful and trustworthy
