With the recent changes in 26.2 pre-release 4, players can now toggle commands directly mid-game via Esc -> Options -> World Options. While managing world permissions has become much more accessible, it introduces a major issue for long-term survival players: the temptation is now too high. When a player is about to lose all their hard-earned items in lava, having a quick toggle right there in the menu makes it too easy to give in to a momentary weakness.
Minecraft already solved an identical problem years ago with the Difficulty Lock (introduced in 1.8). It was added because players wanted to secure their worlds from their own panic-driven choices.
My proposal: Add a small padlock icon next to the "Allow Commands" toggle inside the World Options menu.

Clicking the lock icon would bring up a confirmation pop-up.

Once confirmed, the toggle becomes grayed out and permanently locked for that specific world save.
