In Bedrock's D-pad touch mode, "Swap Jump and Sneak" swaps Jump and Sneak. Left thumb controls movement and jumping; right hand handles looking, attacking, using items - great for two-thumb players. In some Bedrock 1.21 versions, enabling this also moved fly/swim up button to left D-pad center (original Sneak spot), down stayed. Players could ascend by sliding left thumb down in water or flying, keeping right hand free. Smooth. But in 1.21.111.1, Mojang fixed this as bug MCPE-184808, calling it "unexpected" - up is neither Jump nor Sneak. After fix, even with Swap on, up button no longer moves to D-pad center. That spot is empty. To ascend, players must tap the up button on the right side with their right thumb while also looking or fighting. Cumbersome, especially in water. Developers want literal behavior, but this fix reduces customizability and comfort. Different players have different habits - those using Swap often prefer left hand to handle more movement, including ascending. So instead of reverting, add an option: "Place fly/swim up button in left D-pad center" or more generally "Allow customizing left D-pad center (Jump/Sneak/Up/None)". This preserves original behavior and adds an option for those who need it. I've seen similar suggestions on Minecraft Feedback, but I'm submitting again to bring more attention. Thank you for considering touch control players.
