Make Minecraft Base Game Free-to-Play for PC

I believe Microsoft should make the base version of Minecraft Java and Bedrock free-to-play on PC. The game is already 15 years old, and a huge part of its revenue now comes from the Marketplace, Minecoins, and Realms subscriptions. Making the base game free would allow millions of young players who can't afford the current price to play safely without risking their PCs with dangerous cracked launchers or viruses. This change would grow the community even more and protect players.
