Removing attribute swapping is a monumental mistake on Mojang’s part.... The Mace became popular not because it was overpowered, but because it introduced a unique, skill-based combat style that rewarded timing, movement, creativity, and mastery..... Fast switching, lunge mechanics, shield interactions, and advanced combat techniques gave players a reason to learn and refine their skills.......
By removing these mechanics, the Mace risks losing much of its identity and becoming just another weapon...... Minecraft combat is at its best when players can experiment, innovate, and develop unique playstyles..... Balancing powerful mechanics is understandable, but removing them entirely reduces the depth that makes combat engaging......
This change also extends far beyond the Mace........ It affects nearly every combat scenario involving shields, impacting a large portion of both PvP and PvE gameplay..... Attribute swapping has become a fundamental part of advanced combat, allowing experienced players to create strategies and express skill in ways that feel rewarding and dynamic.....
This is not simply a weapon balance adjustment; it is a combat wide downgrade....... Please consider preserving these skill-based interactions and balancing them where necessary rather than removing them entirely. Minecraft’s combat system is stronger when it rewards mastery, not when it removes it....

Minecraft grows when new possibilities are added, not when existing ones are taken away......
