My name is Luke. I have been a PvP enthusiast for years. This isn't AI, this is straight from my heart because this game means everything to me and millions of other players. Please take a look at our perspective.
Did you know the multiplayer PvP community makes up an estimated 40% of the active Java player base? I know you see attribute swapping as a combat exploit, but removing it will be completely detrimental to the community.
Incase you forgot, look at what happened in the 1.9 Combat Update. Removing spam-clicking fundamentally divided the community, and thousands of players refused to update for years. But this time it’s even worse. Nobody wants this change, and the community won't just "adapt" to it.
Without attribute swapping, major creator SMPs like Bliss, Lifesteal, Strength, and Unstable SMP—where creators like Wemmbu, Theobaldthebird, Shoebilly, and FlameFrags rely on these mechanics—will be completely ruined. PvP servers will be forced to 1.21.11 forever this kills Mace PvP, Spear-Mace , Diamond SMP, and Cart PvP. Itverydamages the skillclie
Epic Games did something very similar to Rocket League when they removed player trading, and it permanently hurt their player base and community trust. Mojang has everything to lose here by alienating its most dedicated, content-producing players.
Please don't destroy modern PvP. Consider a compromise like a /gamerule toggle so survival stays vanilla, but multiplayer communities can keep the game depth we've spent years mastering.
