Similar to how many other have already posted as feedback, bears would be a perfect addition for this newly revealed biome. They would fit the autumn theme and fill in the gap of the missing bear as we already have polar and panda.
It would be very simple to add as they would look similar to polar bear with a few interaction changes as they would be bread with honeycomb or salmon and interact with bee nest. They would be neutral as polar bears are so it does not conflict with the PEGI rating of the game. Additionally, to give them a use, I've seen a wonderful idea that fits vanilla mechanics. It consists of the bear being able to drop it's fur by shearing it or some other form (doesn't encourage animal harm) and it would be used to craft the teddy bear with a wool block and 4 bear fur items surrounding it.
The teddy bear block allows the player to sleep even if there are monsters nearby as long as it is placed near a bed they want to sleep in. It would also be a wonderful decoration to bring interiors together. It could even have all 16 color variation if it were chosen to as changing the wool block color in the recipe could lead to all 16 variants being crafted with no technical difficulties.
Overall a very simple feature that could be added to the game as the bear is mainly a re texture with slight behavior changes, and the new block wouldn't be too hard to make happen as it only requires little mechanics and a single model recolored to 16 variants.
