I agree, but I do not think this because the PvP community is bad. Just because I think this PvP method is too OP in comparison to other methods.

Attribute swapping is op, but it is very hard to execute too. Also this change means that if you for example place anchor and swap to glowstone fast then you will just place 2 anchors and you can't do anything about it

It being "too op" isnt an excuse to not revert this patch.Removing attribute swapping literally effects the whole community. You might not realize it but you have been using attribute swapping even outside of PvP.

It being too OP isn’t an excuse it is like any game, you gotta get good at. Shooter games are specifically for aim and reaction time and gamesense and minecraft has a variety of communities. And it affects the PvP one drastically since we have been having this bug for years that we have just used it as a feature. And it doesn’t affect any non PvPers either no one has complained. It’s a win win having attributes swapping since then everyone is happy. We have all played and trained for years just for it to get removed is insane it’s like removing the guns from a shooting game for us PvPers. And maybe the pvp community is toxic. But so is any Pvp community outside of Minecraft. Its in any game even if you believe it or not.

Attribute swapping impacts more than just PvP; it affects gameplay outside of PVP as well. The last-second water bucket clutch, for instance, is no longer possible since attribute swapping no longer supports such last-ditch efforts. The implications for other mechanics should be clear from this change.

So because you have delt with toxic players , you want to ruin a core use for PvP for every PvP gamemode , and it is used for fun in survival and in every thing really

Maybe you are the toxic one

Removing attribute swapping won't make the pvp community less toxic, and besides not all of it is. As a pvp'er myself, this would make so many gamemodes so much worse, especially mace, which would be completely ruined. Do you really want to ruin everyone's fun as some sort of "payback" for only some of the pvp community?

Attribute swapping is not a change that affects exclusively the pvp community. It affects many areas of the game including, builders who are some of the chillest minecraft players. A large part of the pvp community are not toxic and believe that the pvp community should be less toxic. However, removing a feature to alienate us is not going to improve the toxicity of the pvp community. Most server will end up just unpatching the bug and continuing on whilst being mad at mojang for not listening to their group.

Your concern here is ridiculous, actual concerns include it being an overpowered technique. However this bug has been in the game since 2013 and might as well be a feature at this point.
