Village Progression System
Each village has a hidden Development Level:
Stage 1 - Hamlet
- 5–8 buildings
- No defenses
- Basic trades only
- High vulnerability to raids
Stage 2 - Village
- Farms expand automatically
- Basic paths form between houses
- Iron golem spawns possible
- Trading improves slightly
Stage 3 - Town
- Walls begin generating naturally (wood/stone mix)
- Guard NPCs appear
- Profession buildings upgrade visually
- Villagers begin coordinated movement patterns
Stage 4 - City
- Full defensive perimeter walls
- Watchtowers with ranged guards
- Underground evacuation network
- Advanced economy system (trade hubs)
🧠 AI BEHAVIOR SYSTEM
Villagers now have “state-based intelligence”:
Peace State
- Normal trading
- Farming routines
- Social clustering behavior
Alert State
Triggered by nearby Illagers:
- Bell network activates
- Guards patrol
- Villagers move into safe zones
Siege State
- Buildings barricade automatically
- Underground bunkers open
- Iron golems switch to aggressive patrol
- Emergency resource stockpiles are accessed
💰 ECONOMY SYSTEM
Villages now simulate a basic economy:
- Items have supply/demand values
- Over-trading reduces value
- Rare items increase in demand during war
- Trade caravans move between villages
🧑🌾 PROFESSIONS (EXPANDED)
Each profession now levels up:
- Farmer → Crop Specialist → Agronomist
- Blacksmith → Armorer → Master Forgekeeper
- Librarian → Archivist → Lorekeeper
- Cartographer → Pathfinder → War Mapper
- NEW: Engineer → builds defenses and redstone systems
