Hello, I’m reaching out regarding your latest announcement about multiplayer in the Java Edition. Minecraft has always been my favorite game, and I’ve had a great time playing it, especially with friends. I’ve always had both versions of the game (Bedrock and Java). I mostly played with friends on Bedrock because it was the easiest way to play with them, as you probably know, it’s complicated to play with friends on the same world in the Java Edition. However, Bedrock is a version of the game that’s far less optimized than Java, both in terms of gameplay (Nether ceiling, PVP, mob spawning, etc.) and user experience (resource packs, more settings, and above all, fewer bugs!). I was really thrilled to learn that multiplayer was finally going to be available on Java, and I was really looking forward to creating a new world with my friends over the summer. Unfortunately, you decided to remove this feature right before its release with the sole explanation: “it doesn’t suit everyone.” I don’t understand why you didn’t leave this feature in, even in the testing phase, where you could still make changes in future updates.
Best regards,
A disappointed player
