With the new mushrooms coming in 26.3, I think it would be great if they followed the same design pattern as the existing mushroom types: each new mushroom should be usable to grow a large version of itself, keeping consistency with how crimson and warped fungi already work. This way the new mushrooms feel like a natural addition to the game rather than an isolated feature.
Beyond that, I'd love to see the new mushrooms used as a crafting ingredient for a brand new potion — one that takes advantage of the mechanics introduced in 26.2, particularly the sulfur cube. The idea would be to brew a Potion of Bounce that increases the player's bouncy value and reduces air drag at the same time.
This would significantly improve mobility in a fun, distinctly Minecraft way: imagine bouncing across terrain, gaining height with each jump, and gliding through the air with reduced drag. It wouldn't break the game since it's a temporary effect like any other potion, but it would add a new layer of movement that feels rewarding and playful.
