Please allow poeple under 16 to participate the build challenge

A build challenge of a Minecraft Movie Squared is hosted with requirement: must be 16+
However, many Minecrafters are at young ages and mostly kids and they of course have incredible creativity, but they cannot join the challenge. So, I think people under 16 should be allowed to join it through their parents. This way, kids' safety is protected, and also they can join the challenge and the community itself. Please consider it.
(im turning 16 in july and i cant join the challenge, please)

    I totally agree with you on this, i think its a bit unfair that, despite parental permissions, kids arent allowed to partake in this challenge (i cant take part either, im 13)

    a possibility im considering is that maybe mojang are scared of being flooded with loads of terrible builds from 6 - 10 year olds and they think that just cutting of the entire age group will filter out the worst entries, it does make sense, but i think its very unfair on people (like me) who are to young to enter.

    So I actually looked up the details about it because my kiddo is 9 and builds these crazy awesome builds. It's got to do with the legal side of things. Minors under 16 cant legally sign the waivers needed to have their work appear in a major movie as well as a few other issues but that seems to be the biggest one I've found.
