why would you delete joining friends in java

i’m genuinely so disappointed. after 14 years we are able to join friends on bedrock without using ip address, mods, or third party websites. and now you guys just delete it. what was the point in that like jus why??? that’s actually so dumb why would you do that. hopefully you’re adding it back
