Dear Mojang,
Please prioritize base game performance optimization on mobile. I play on a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 flagship device—the current ceiling of mobile hardware. Yet, the basic survival experience is struggling.
I am not talking about the Deferred Preview, but the core game. In my 150-day world, simply exploring chunks or loading builds causes rapid overheating. When thermal throttling kicks in, the frame rate drops drastically.
We love new features, but what's the point if top-tier devices overheat just rendering standard chunks? The Render Dragon engine's optimization on mobile ARM architecture needs urgent attention.
My Suggestions:
"Performance Update": Dedicate a major update to code optimization, fixing memory leaks, and multi-threading for mobile.
Chunk Loading: Optimize background chunk/entity rendering. A Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 shouldn't struggle with a 10-chunk render distance.
Stability First: Ensure the base game runs flawlessly before adding demanding features.
Poor performance limits our creativity. Please hear the mobile community: optimize first! Thank you.
