Hi, this is Yeszio
I understand that RenderDragon improved Minecraft Bedrock Edition internally with better rendering consistency, RTX support, and platform optimization. However, it also heavily restricted the creativity of the Bedrock creator community.
Since RenderDragon was introduced, many features used by shader and resource pack creators became limited or stopped working properly, including:
• Bedrock shader compatibility
• Advanced resource pack rendering customization
• Post-processing effects
• Motion blur, bloom, and cinematic effects
• GLSL and HLSL shader usage
• .fsh shader files
• .vsh shader files
Many creators used these systems to make unique visual experiences for Minecraft Bedrock Edition. Now, a lot of older shader projects are broken or impossible to recreate on vanilla Bedrock, especially on iOS.
My suggestion is to either:
• Add an optional legacy rendering mode
• Add a RenderDragon toggle in Accessibility or Experiments
• Or officially support safe custom post-processing/shader APIs for creators
This would help restore creative freedom for the Bedrock community while still keeping RenderDragon available for RTX and modern rendering features.
Thank you for reading.
