Shearing a sulfur cube with a block inside should place the stored block instead of just dropping it as an item.
This wouldn’t be an overpowered auto-placer as not only it would require a complicated redstone system to be able to feed them the block, shear it, then move the block, but also they can only store full blocks, so it wouldn't be something like a boring “placer block”.
Minecraft is all about the creativity of the players and this feature would be an interesting addition while supporting creatiivty.
It also fits the main purpose of sulfur cubes and redstone minigames. Being able to place blocks automatically would allow for better reset systems, puzzle mechanics, bridges, traps, parkour regeneration, and other minigame features without direct player interaction.
