The sulfur caves should have variants acording to the biome that is above it, if is an wet biome generates 50% more speleothem and more sulfur lakes, if is a dry biome have 3% of chance to generates some web at the walls, the biome would also have variants acording to the temerature:
Temperate - Generates (full blocks) 40% sulfur, 40% cinnabar, 8% calcite (just around sulfur pools), 3% granite (only when cinnabar touches sulfur) and 5% tuff (around the biome, only) and 4% normal cave blocks
Cold - Same as temperate, but instead of granite generating would be calcite
Warm/Deeper - Same as temperate, but intead of tuff would be 2% more of calcite and 3% of basalt and also generates magma under potent sulfur and the old sulfur springs more often
Warm/Normal - Same as temperate, bu instead of granite would be terracota
The potent sulfur in contact of water (when isn't above magma) would give poison. The old sulfur springs would generate in sulfur caves and sulfur pools would generate more often also glow lichen would generate often. The sulfur cave would have a more visible fog (that low the distance the player can see a little bit)
