Turtle discouragement, and the invention of buckets.

We should be able to pick up turtles in buckets. Most other small aquatic mobs can be. So why not Turtles? I was walking along the beach in minecraft the other day and I can across a family of turtles. I thought to myself, "Why can't Turtles be picked up in buckets?" To my dismay, I left turtleless and highly discouraged. Please minecraft, let my future turtle buddies, fit in a bucket. I state my case, thank you.
