Hello, Mojang! We propose 100% gameplay parity without merging engines, adding native crossplay filters.
1. Gameplay Parity & Toggles
Transfer logical exclusives without affecting graphics.
- Java: Advanced cauldrons, moveable tile entities (chests/furnaces), forward bridging.
- Bedrock: Fix Redstone logic (no random ticks, quasi-connectivity), Java PvP (cooldowns, shields).
World settings toggles:
- Combat: [Java PvP / Bedrock PvP]
- Building: [Java / Bedrock style]
2. Native Crossplay with Code Verification
Multiplayer settings toggle: "Modified Content: ON/OFF".
Platform toggle: [Java Only / Bedrock Only / Crossplay]
"OFF" Mode (Vanilla Crossplay with Verification):
Built-in validation system scans files and code against reference database. World generation parameters and logic must match standard values. Any gameplay-altering files are disabled for the session. Client mods like Sodium or addon action and stuff are fully allowed since they don't affect world logic. Allows seamless vanilla crossplay for all.
"ON" Mode (Experimental Crossplay):
Server allows plugins/mods. Game natively adapts content for Bedrock using packet translation (Geyser-like logic).
Console Protection: To comply with platform rules, "ON" servers are hidden/blocked for Xbox/PlayStation/Switch.
3. Java Marketplace
Bring Marketplace, character creator, and emotes to Java Edition to unify customization.
