Better UI for new buttons in menus

I saw the new friends feature coming to java edition and I think it's a great feature, however seeing some images of where the new buttons fit into the menu, I really hope that the design is changed. It unfortunately looks really bad, especially the pause menu, with the little square buttons right in the middle of the big ones. I'm not sure how to make it look nice but I hope it can be a lot better
