Waterlogged blocks connected to potent slf. water should give off nx. gas

I think waterlogged blocks connected to potent sulfur water should give off noxious gas. Unfortunately it won't let me show a picture of my idea, but if there were non-full, waterlogged blocks connecting to a potent sulfur pool of water, then maybe noxious gas could come out and give nausea to players standing over them.
